This book contained real astronomy and real...
Adventure Construction Set
via en.wikipedia.org Stuart Smith’s ACS. EA launched these games in ‘album covers’ featuring the creators’ names, bucking the trend of Atari and others, who felt that game-writers were just factory workers not worthy of credits. Atari - 0. EA - 10,000,000. Posted via email from rlbgator’s posterous | Comment »

2011 predictions
1. Corporate radio will try to use Facebook, etc, to get more ‘active’ with their listeners, but will continue to suck b/c of the lowest-common-denominator nature of corporate music. Something like this: “Vote for which trax BIFF-FM playz at noon! Nickelback, Train, *or* Creed! YOU control the music! SLAM IN BIFF-FM… THEN RIP OFF THE KNOB....

Girly Nation - Taki's Magazine
Life’s great law is that poverty and hardship build character; prosperity and security destroy it. This isn’t anybody’s fault; it’s merely a natural law, like gravity. Nor is it anything particular to America. Any other nation afflicted with such colossal success will fall into decadence as we are doing. History offers many examples. Face it: Our fathers and grandfathers were ants. We are...
